Velleppam
Velleppam is a Malayalam romantic drama that keeps its ambitions close to ordinary life. The story centres on Josemon, a young man who has avoided responsibility while his sister Sarah has carried the family’s sacrifices. The arrival of Kaleena, an artist working on a church painting, unsettles that comfortable imbalance and gives the film its emotional movement. It is a simple setup, but the appeal lies in the feeling of a life slowly being asked to grow up.
