Bethlehem Kudumba Unit
Bethlehem Kudumba Unit is built on a small emotional spark rather than a big plot engine. Ashley’s return home is unsettled by a wedding happening next door, which brings her earlier connection with Justin back into view. Gireesh A. D. uses that set-up to make a romance out of glances, awkwardness, family pressure and the familiar social energy around a Kerala neighbourhood. It is not a film that tries to manufacture drama at every turn. Its best scenes trust the ordinary details to do the work.
