Pennu Case

3.0 / 5
ComedyCrimeDramaRaaga would rewatch: No

Pennu Case turns the idea of marriage fraud into a Malayalam crime-comedy rather than a grim police procedural. The film follows a police officer investigating a woman arrested after a string of marriages, with the story unfolding over seven increasingly complicated days. That premise gives the film a ready-made engine: every new detail can make the mystery messier, funnier and more unpredictable without asking the audience to take the entire world too seriously.
