Irumudi

3.0 / 5
Family DramaActionEmotional DramaRaaga would rewatch: No

Irumudi works best when it stays close to its simplest idea: a father trying to protect the child who has become the centre of his life. Ravi Teja plays Trinadh, a man with a difficult past who has found a gentler reason to change in his daughter. Director Shiva Nirvana frames that relationship against an Ayyappa devotional backdrop, but the spirituality is only one layer of the story. The real engine is the fear, responsibility and fierce love that come with raising a girl in a world the film sees as deeply unsafe.
