A gripping father-daughter thriller with real emotional weight.

A strong story and a standout young performance make this an easy watch, despite a weakly written villain.

Recommendation
Watch this if you enjoy emotional action thrillers, father-daughter stories and a K-drama with a fast-moving central plot.

Agent Kim Reactivated follows Kim Do-hyeon, an ordinary-looking father whose quiet life is disrupted when his teenage daughter, Min-ji, goes missing. Forced to draw on a dangerous past, he begins a desperate search that turns a personal crisis into a larger action thriller.

What works best here is the emotional core. The drama does not rely only on action; it gives the father-daughter relationship real weight, which makes the central story much more involving. So Ji-sub brings the right balance of restraint, emotion and intensity to the role.

A special mention goes to Seo Su-min as Min-ji. As a first-time actor, she does very well, and her performance feels natural without becoming overdramatic. She gives the emotional scenes the credibility they need.

The story is strong enough to keep you watching, with good tension and a clear emotional purpose. The villain is the weaker part of the drama, though. The role feels underwritten, so the character never becomes the truly memorable threat the story needed.

Overall, this is a very good watch for anyone who enjoys action dramas with heart. It is not just about an agent returning to action — it is also about a father trying to protect the person who matters most to him.
