Netflix has confirmed First Doctor, a Korean medical drama set in a pediatric surgery unit facing closure. Jung Ryeo-won leads the cast with Ha Yoon-kyung, Bek Hyun-jin, Kim Jong-soo and Kim Moo-yul.
Jung Ryeo-won plays the brilliant, uncompromising surgeon Heo Ji-wan. Director Hong Jong-chan reunites with writer Kim Min-suk after Juvenile Justice, putting an experienced social-drama team behind the hospital setting.
